郝隆爲桓公南蠻參軍，三月三日會，作詩。不能者，罰酒三升。隆初以不能受罰，既飲，攬筆便作一句云：“娵隅躍清池。”桓問：“娵隅是何物？”答曰：“蠻名魚爲娵隅。”桓公曰：“作詩何以作蠻語？”隆曰：“千里投公，始得蠻府參軍，那得不作蠻語也？”
