- 讄，禱也。絫功德以求福也。《論語》云：“讄曰： 禱尒于上下神祇。”诔，祷也。絫功德以求福也。《论语》云：“诔曰： 祷尔于上下神祇。”诔、絫双声。按： 诔，施于生者以求福；诔，施于死者以作谥。《论语》之“诔曰”，字当从畾；毛传曰：“桑纪能诔”，字当从耒，《周礼》六辞郑司农注，二字已不分矣。 —段玉裁注说文·言部
