详细释义
哺乳动物。体和尾被有覆瓦状的角质鳞。头呈圆锥形，吻尖，口、耳和眼较小。无齿，舌细长，伸缩自如。四肢较短，爪长而尖锐有力，用以刨土觅食或掘洞穴居。产于我国长江以南及越南、缅甸等地。鳞片可入药，主治恶疮、疯症、乳汁不通等症。
