释义	祠尾 cí wěi 详细释义即鸱尾。古代宫殿正屋脊两端的装饰构件，以瓦为之。以其形似猛禽鸱之尾，因以为名。北齐颜之推《颜氏家训·书证》谓张敞撰《东宫旧事》何以呼鸱尾为祠尾，因张敞为吴人，呼祠祀为鸱祀，故以祠代鸱。一说，即蚩尾，鱼尾形屋饰。唐苏鹗《苏氏演义》卷上谓：蚩，海兽；蚩尾，水之精，能辟火灾，可置之堂殿。
