释义	灌佛 guàn fó 详细释义佛教的一种仪式。又称浴佛。用各种名贵香料所浸之水灌洗佛像。相传夏历四月八日为释迦牟尼的生日，每逢该日佛教信徒举行这种仪式。不以灌佛一錢私作恩惠。不以灌佛一钱私作恩惠。佛说摩诃刹头经卷一四月八日，敬宣見衆人灌佛，乃下頭上金鏡以爲母灌，因悲泣不自勝。四月八日，敬宣见众人灌佛，乃下头上金镜以为母灌，因悲泣不自胜。宋书·刘敬宣传王母殷淑儀薨，後四月八日建齋並灌佛。王母殷淑仪薨，后四月八日建斋并灌佛。南史·张融传
