释义	廕生 yìn shēng 详细释义因先世荫庇而入国子监读书的称为荫生。明代荫子入监有两种：凡按品级取得的称为官生，不按品级而由皇帝特给的称为恩生。清代亦分两种：凡现任大官遇庆典给予的称为恩荫，由于先代殉职而给予的称为难荫。賈珍道：“犬婦之喪，累蒙郡駕下臨，廕生輩何以克當。” 贾珍道：“犬妇之丧，累蒙郡驾下临，荫生辈何以克当。” 红楼梦第十四回 1 参阅《明史·选举志一》《清史稿·选举志一》。
