五代十国之一。梁太祖时，封刘隐为南平王，又进封南海王。隐死，弟龑（yǎn） 称帝，国号大越。后改称汉，是为南汉。有今广东及广西的南部。后灭于宋。共历四主，六十八年（公元904—971）。
自嶺南北四十七州爲南漢。
自岭南北四十七州为南汉。
