即黑帝祠，汉高祖时置，祀黑帝之处。
二年，東擊項籍而還入關，問：“故秦時上帝祠何帝也？”對曰：“四帝，有白、青、黄、赤帝之祠。”高祖曰：“吾聞天有五帝，而有四，何也？”莫知其説。於是高祖曰：“吾知之矣，乃待我而具五也。”乃立黑帝祠，命曰北畤。有司進祠，上不親往。
