详细释义
亦称“米制”。旧名“米突制”。其主要优点是：单位的选取有可靠标准；各基本单位（长度、质量）间有密切联系；采取十进位制，使用方便。我国国务院在1959年6月公布，确定为我国的基本计量制度。公制是法国在十八世纪末首创的。1875年，法、德、美、俄等十七国的代表在巴黎签订米突公约，并成立国际计量局，规定几个主要计量单位是：
