详细释义
亦作“烏丸”。古时北方少数民族名。原是东胡族的一支，西汉初被匈奴击败，迁移到乌桓山，因以为名。汉建安十二年曹操破乌桓，徙万馀落至中原，其势遂衰。见《汉书·匈奴传下》、《后汉书·乌桓传》。后世诗文中亦泛指北方少数民族或其居住地。
